The Caliburn G Pod Platform has been Uwell’s most-used pod system for a few years now, and the GPP Alpha is the pod Uwell built to answer the two complaints that come up most with any refillable mesh pod: flavour that starts strong and fades fast, and pods that need replacing sooner than you’d like. It’s a straight upgrade over the original GPP and G3 pod, using the same click-fit and the same range of resistances, so switching to it doesn’t mean changing anything about how you vape.
Available here in 0.4ohm, 0.6ohm, 0.9ohm and 1.2ohm, each at the UK-legal 2ml fill, packed four to a box.
What’s Actually Different About The Alpha Version
Uwell calls the coil inside these pods AlphaCore. In practical terms, that means a mesh coil built to hold its flavour clarity over more refills before it needs swapping out, paired with a softer TPU mouthpiece that’s more comfortable through a full day of vaping than the harder tip on older Caliburn pods. The pod shell has also been tightened up to cut down on the sweating and seepage that side-fill pods can be prone to over time.
Fill, prime and fit it exactly as you would any other Caliburn pod. Nothing about the process has changed, only the parts underneath.
