Description
The SMOK AL85 is a smaller version of its wildly-popular Alien – and much like its older brother, the AL85 does not disappoint.
The mod is sleek and fits well in the hand, with modest dimensions that belie its significant power output of 85 watts. Coupled with this design is an ergonomic firing button that encompasses an entire side of the device. Literally, all you have to do is squeeze with your hand to start your vape – no fumbling for a button needed! Beyond its feel, the mod is user-friendly with its screw-top battery compartment, ensuring that you don’t have to fuss about batteries falling out or being unable to access them.
Moving onto the guts of the device, the AL85’s menu is bright, easy to understand, and easy to use. A simple right-left toggle button eliminates confusion and enables you to quickly switch between the mod’s various modes. These modes include the typical wattage and temperature control, but there is also the option to control how strong your pull is and save particular settings (i.e. memory mode) if you like your vaping to be just the right way. Whether you’re a serious vaper intent on clouding up your universe or a casual vaper simply seeking a solid power base for day-to-day activity, this device’s menu won’t lead you astray.
Of course, no self-respecting kit is complete without a tank, and SMOK has totally done you a solid by providing a TFV8 Baby Beast to get you started. This sturdy tank is made with stainless steel and high-grade glass and features a hinge locking mechanism on the top for easy and spotless tank-filling. The tank comes with 0.4 and 0.6 dual coils; combined with the ultra-wide drip tip and dual adjustable airflows, these coils will ensure that you can generate a spectacular cloud at any wattage.
Whether you’re getting started on your vaping journey or looking for a small mod that packs a punch, the AL85 is bound to satisfy your needs!
